Getting Bigger Bigger Everyday!!!

Aiden has gotten so big he is walking & running everywhere getting into everything and has become such a picky eater...what happened to my boy who ate everything. He loves the remote controls, cell phones, house phone....when the phone rings he runs over to the base answers the phone and sometimes if you are lucky you'll get a hi. He points at everything and waits for you to answer and let him know what that is. He's now saying Ale, which is Alex for his big bro. He loves buzz lightyear. He was teething last week since one of his molars on his left side was coming through, he ran a fever for a couple of days as high as 103.8. I was scarred and called our doctor but she said it was fine to give him some motrin. So last friday night we camped out in our living room made a humongous bed with all the covers and pillows in the house and watched Kung Fu Panda. To our surprise Aiden loved it soo much that he didn't lift a finger through the whole movie, he loved it!! Me and Aiden ended up waking up the next day at 11am BOY DID WE SLEEP IN...All those sleeples nights we had due to his fever. A couple days a week we will take him out for a walk he loves to see all the colors and leaves. He loves our neighbors dog skippy. Gio found these cute slipper sponge bob shoes that he totally loves and loves wearing them all the time. Well thats it for now, we are getting ready and excited for halloween next week.

We have birds, squirrels and chipmunks that come onto our deck so he likes to peek out and look at them.

Summer Updates - Aiden Turns 1

So it's been a while since I last updated this blog...Im terrible :( , but promise to do it more often. Since my last post on May 4th, Aiden has gotten so big and has been on point with his weight and height. We love to spend time with him. He LOVES going out!! There is nothing better for him, than to be in the car with us out and about running our errands, grocery shopping etc., he loves to check out the cars next to us, the trees, and points out to the sky and anything that seems interesting to him. He loves to walk around everywhere so we put a gate at the top of the steps. He loves playing at the park, his favorite the slide....he never wants to leave. He also got to spend some time with his two Aunts Veronica and Monica since they were down here from Idaho and Utah. I know he always has a blast with them since they shower him with hugs and kisses lots of love. They ended up leaving us at teh end of the summer but we'll see them again when they return in December for Christmas. One of the things that Aiden loves doing is playing with Alex, he'll go the the door and start knocking until Alex opens up and all you can see is Aiden's face light up with his bright smile. We also like to wait for Alex outside at the bus stop, and he already knows Alex is coming when he see's that bright yellow cheese bus pull up. He is such a daddy's little boy everything is Dada or Daddy. He's still not much of a talker just a couple words here and their and now he responds by saying OK...but he's walking all over the place. He loves being sang to no matter if he's eating, or getting ready to take a nap. He's such a good eater. I dont think theres anything that he won't eat, I just hope it lasts.


Aiden also had his first b-day bash, where he was surrounded by all of his loving family and friends. We had orginally planned for an outdoor b-day party, rented a moon bounce for the kids and had tables set up for arts & crafts & face painting and a pinata. Unfortunately, we got rained on BAD!! So we moved the party inside where we had just as much fun. Without the help of my sister-in-laws Veronica, Monica & Brenda.....AND let's not for get Uncle Adam & Mami (grandma). Im not sure how me and Gio would have done it. We had a full house of kids 13 to be exact. But the kids had a blast playing musical chairs, face painting, decorating their goody bags, pin the fin on the shark and other fun cool stuff. And the Aligator cupcake cake was a hit!! I prayed that it would turn out ok!! It took me all morning to make just because I really wanted to get the detail of the aligator skin done right...I was proud I did it all by myself. ..So the following day we had great weather, sun was shining and we were able to keep the moon bounce 1 more day they guy we rented from was so awesome for letting us have it one more day so we called up some of the kids that live in the same town so they could the moon bounce and break the pinata. So Aiden ended up having 2 days worth of fun double whammie. I guess it all worked out for him.

Aiden was taking a few steps here and their but the next day after his b-day he started walking all by himself. Thanks to a walker that he got as a b-day present from his friends Kalie and Taya...THANKS GIRLS!!

Getting Big!!!

Random Story: So on May 2, 2009 Aiden wakes from his nap and begins his baby talk, out of the blue comes the word DADA,,,,OMG I worked so hard trying to get him to say Mama before Dada, a little competition me and Gio had, so yup he won its official he's a daddys boy.....

So Aiden turned 8 months on April 18th......He's such a big boy!! So here's a few tidbits on his progress so far.

1. Puts everything & anything in his mouth


2. Hates socks somehow he manages to take both socks off all the time


3. Eats everything & anything, green beans, applesause, bananas, squash, carrots, cereal, juice, pasta, spaghetti, yogurt, baby cookies...etc. etc. etc.


4. Begining stages of crawling, so time to baby proof the house


5. Loves bathtime, so I fill up the Rubber Duckie bath tub with his toys


6. Loves to play on his play mat that we recently got he loves the bright colors


7. Still only two teeth on the bottom, that btw are razor sharp


8. Loves to knock off Alex's glasses from his face. Can we say a little aggressive LOL !!


9. Baby talks all the time!! I swear I think he's having a full on conversation


10. MY FAV.!!! Has the best baby laugh/giggle ever.


Here's a little clip... Apparently he doesn't like to share...Believe me we are working on that one. But I thought it was the cutest thing ever so I decided to share this with everyone. Don't mess with his toys or food....LOL
